The   Bolsheviks

By the Fall of 1992, Dodge and Sargent reunite to form 'Menage Au Dodge' introducing Mark Bacchus Freedman (as lead vocalist) and Antwon Schwan Phillips (on rhythm guitar) to the Eugene scene.

Darge Productions produces it's first official work in the guise of the THE BOLSHEVIKS self titled first album featuring Joe Fitzgibbon on drums.

December 1995:

During this period, The Bolsheviks regroup for the recording sessions known as "Living with the Proliteriat" featuring Luke Strahota on drums / Percussion and Steve Cebula for the first time.   Hit songs include "Evolution", "Stargirl" and "The Soldier".

1998 - 1999:

Not a lot is known about this period except that Darge Productions retreated into the vacuum of Aloha, Oregon to complete production on The Harlequin :Episode III The Citadel.  Simultaneously, a new Bolsheviks album, known as  "Country" (featuring guest bass work by David Farrell on the title track and "Narcotic") is released and garnishes critical acclaim.

Within months of 'Country',  The Bolsheviks develop a new concept album entitled "Year of the Dog" (Featuring the hits, "Desdemona" and "Magic").

Unfortunately, 'Year of the Dog' frays the the delicate economic and psychological balance of Darge Productions and Mr. Dodge is left alone in Aloha...

Meanwhile, Aloha townsfolk assume that a group of "Squatters" have settled into the old, "decrepid"  & haunted farm house and begin a gossip campaign of intolerance.

December 8th, 1999:

The Bolsheviks perform “Bad Boy” and “I Am The Walrus” at the Tonic Lounge for DJ Gregarious annual John Lennon Tribute.  Soon after, recordings begin for the Bolshevik album, "Resident Alien".  Popular singles include 'Conspiracy Theory' and 'White Eagle'.

April 28th, 2000:

Performing without Mr. Sargent & Mr. Strahota, Steve Cebula and Jeff Dodge form an Ad Hoc version of The Bolsheviks to join A Tribute to Syd Barrett .  The performance took place on N.E. Alberta with Cord Amato on Kazoo and Paul Montone as Syd Barrett.
