The Jeff Dodge Band
The Jeff Dodge Band
Prior to the Middle Fingers, young Dodge spent many hours teaching himself guitar in the country side. Using somewhat primitive 2-Track tape recorders, he recorded his first solo effort in 1985 - a cover of the Beatles "And Your Bird Can Sing" with guitar and vocal overdubs (it's rumored he had a little help learning the middle-8 section from father Stew).
After the ups and downs of Pink Milk and the eventual dispersal of fellow bandmates after High School graduation, Dodge would begin a tradition of solo projects (usually along with a number of notable cameos) simply called The Jeff Dodge Band.
